Who we are

Ace 1 Renovations is a London house renovation company. It is run by its owner, who has been painting and decorating for around 20 years and also takes on handyman jobs, flooring, kitchens and bathrooms. The business has traded as Ace 1 Renovations since 2021.

The firm describes itself simply: painting, decorating, renovating. In practice that means general renovations, kitchens and bathrooms, flooring, plastering and wall repairs, wallpapering and interior and exterior painting, for householders, landlords and businesses.

This website is for the house renovation work we do in Hackney and nearby: Dalston, Clapton, Stoke Newington, Homerton, Hackney Wick, Shoreditch and the neighbouring parts of east and north London.

How we work

What you can expect when Ace 1 Renovations takes on a job, in the firm’s own terms.

  • Free quotes

Tell us about the job, with photos if you have them, and we’ll quote for it at no charge.

  • One firm, start to finish

Strip-out, repairs, floors, fitting and decorating handled together, rather than a different trade for each.

  • Punctual and tidy

A reliable, professional service, turning up when we say and keeping the work area tidy.

  • Homes and businesses

Domestic and commercial work, and small jobs are welcome as well as full renovations.

Business premises: a shop unit fit‑out

One of Ace 1 Renovations’ recent commercial jobs: a shop unit taken from a bare shell, with brick walls and open ceiling joists, to finished rooms with new stud partitions, plasterboard walls and ceilings, and a clean white finish.
